CROSSING SERVICES FOR PEDESTRIANS

Seven boats transport thousands of people from Santos, Vicente de Carvalho, Cananéia and Ariri on a daily basis. The Santos/Vicente de Carvalho and Santos/Guarujá boats departure every twenty minutes, on average, 24 hours a day, and the crossing takes from 10 to 15 minutes. Yet the Cananéia/Ariri boats transport approximately 35/40 people once a day and the crossing takes approximately three and a half hours. The Cananéia/Ariri crossing serves the residents living in the riverside communities of Marujá and Pontal and is virtually the only means of transportation of these populations.

NOTES
  1. Bidirectional fare. Fare is paid to the collector on board in both directions of the travel.
  2. Accompanied minors, up to 5 years old, are not charged.
  3. Residents of the region should prove this situation through residence certificate, provided by the respective Municipality and accredited students will have 50% discount on the Pass School purchase.
