Duplication of Nova Tamoios - Plateau Section

The duplication works of the Plateau Section of Nova Tamoios – stretching from the kilometer 11.5 to the kilometer 60.48, was opened in January, 2014. A high-traffic-volume highway, mainly during the weekends and holidays, with several accesses to residential condos, commercial centers and small farms, it required a high-level executive plan, with efficient support from the traffic authorities and the Highway Patrol. It was a complex project that included rock blasting operations that demanded temporary traffic disruptions.
